Before and after each massage, the massage therapist's hands and forearms will be washed with soap, water and a disinfecting solution. Any breaks in the skin of the massage therapist will be covered with protective coverings.

The client will come to the massage therapy appointment clean. The client will inform the massage therapist of any breaks in the skin, and these areas will be avoided.

Therapeutic massage is intended to be a health enhancing system that promotes body balance and efficient body function.

Massage stimulates the natural restorative processes of the body and mechanically reduces muscle tension. These methods may not be used to diagnose or treat any specific, pre-existing condition without written permission from your physician.

If any situation that may arise during the massage session and if the therapist feels you should be evaluated by another professional under the massage therapy policies we would refer you to health care physician. Therefore, massage therapist do not diagnose or prescribe for a particular body dysfunction.

Massage therapy is a maintenance system, and the benefits are cumulative. It is best to receive a 1-hour massage every week/fortnight/month to reduce the physical stress that builds in the body. Occasional appointments provide temporary symptomatic relief, but the cumulative effects of therapeutic massage are lost if massage therapy is not used on a regular basis.

In our partnership, open and honest communication between you, the client, and our massage therapist is paramount. Your feedback on the effectiveness of our work, any discomfort you may experience, your preferences for specific massage techniques, and any other details are highly valuable to us.

We encourage you to share any information that will enhance your massage experience:

Is there a specific area you'd like us to avoid during the massage?

  • Do you have any preferences or sensitivities to the type of oil or cream we use?

Please don't hesitate to provide this information as it becomes relevant during your sessions. Your comfort and well-being are our top priorities.

Maintaining respect for your personal boundaries is of utmost importance to us. To ensure professionalism and establish clear boundaries, we adhere to the following massage therapy policies:

  • You will be informed in advance of the specific areas that will be massaged.

It's important to note that under no circumstances will the breast and genital areas be massaged. If the therapist needs to work near these areas for therapeutic reasons, your permission will be explicitly sought; otherwise, a respectful distance will be maintained.

Any form of sexual interaction or discussion is strictly prohibited between the client and the massage therapist.

Requests for sexual activity are not tolerated and will be reported to the relevant authorities in accordance with our massage therapy policies and procedures. If such behaviour occurs, the client will not be rescheduled.
